All time favorites.

There are a few songs that leave an impression on you and whenever you hear that song your heart stops for a bit. After the intro you want to laugh, cry, sing along or just rock out. I also have a couple of songs that make me feel like that. Here are those songs.

The first one I'd like for you to hear is Aerosmith - Dream On. When I heard this song for the first time it made me feel realistic and powerful in the chorus. Whenever I hear this song on the radio I want to stand up and sing along, although the rest of the bus might think that's not a very good idea. Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txlXcJDtDwM

Of course this wouldn't be complete without at least one Neil Young song. So here it is. My favorite Neil Young song is Heart of Gold but to be honest, this song feels like magic to me. It's fragile, it's lovable, it's honest and it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Neil Young is a hero, a living legend and I'm going to see him in less than 6 months. Enjoy the magic; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vef03k5i8VI

If you don't know this song there is something wrong with you. Growing up in a cave isn't an excuse, you HAVE to know this song. I'm talking about Roxanne by The Police. I don't think I have to explain why I love it so much. Whenever you arrive at a party and they play this song, everyone is singing along. I always loved this song but ever since it came on the TV show Community, I love it even more. Me and my best friend Tessa always yell it to each other when we meet again! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T1c7GkzRQQ

Imagine; a great concert just ended and you're just hanging out at the venue when this song comes on. Everyone wakes up again and starts to dance and sing along. That is what happens when this song gets played in public places. I know most of you only know this song by that band, but they have more great songs. This band is The Fratellis and the song is Chelsea Dagger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEXHeTcxQy4

The next one is another classic. But not a classic rock song. It's one that you're hearing more and more these days though. And every time I hear it I can't not sing along. Doing the corny dances also. I'm not going to tell you what it is, just listen and enjoy; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fndeDfaWCg

Here's a song that is new but my heart is already going crazy whenever I hear the intro on a radio and such. I have to listen to it at least four times a day or else my day sucks. This song is about a break up and all I can say that it's true. It's real, it's true, again it's honest but it's also heart breaking. I'm talking about Six Degrees Of Separation by The Script. My heart is actually breaking because I can't go see them next week.. But here you go; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iOGAF1CZVs

There are a lot of songs by the Foo Fighters. A lot of people know a lot of songs by the Foo Fighters. But this song is special to me because it's the first one I ever heard of them and I have great memories of it. Even though I listen to other Foo Fighters songs more, this one still feels special whenever I hear it. Here it is, I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5_eWPCB4p4

This song is emotional. Everyone knows it and at least 80% of those people must have felt related to this song at least once in their life. I know I have. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this song. It still feels special when I hear it. It still feels like the first time I hear it even though it might be the 50.000th time I hear it. Here you go, Goo Goo Dolls - Iris. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8UeeIAJ0a0
