need to see!!

Hi all. I've seen a lot of my favorite bands live, but there's still some bands and singers I'd love to see. So here's my top whatever in random order.

1. Them Crooked Vultures.
I've seen Josh, I've seen Dave but now I'd love to see them playing together and with JPJ!!!

2. The Goo Goo Dolls.
Man I love their songs. They barely play in Europe (haven't played in Holland for 10 years or so) and that's a shame.

3. Jessie J.
My favorite female singer, she HAS to come to Holland too. Can't wait to see her and hopefully someday meet her.

4. The Fratellis.
Of course every single one of you knows the song 'Chelsea Dagger'. If you don't, you've been living under a rock for so long. But after hearing Chelsea Dagger, I searched for more of their songs and they turn out to be really, really surprisingly good.

5. Jack White.
Oh c'mon, this needs no explanation! He's a true genius.

6. Pearl Jam.
Even though I don't listen to Pearl Jam very often, it's a band you HAVE to see in your life. And I hope I will cause from what I've seen, they bring such good energy on stage.

7. Seasick Steve.
Watching his performances gives me goosebumps every time, I need to see him some day.

8. Alain Johannes.
What an inspiring man he is. His songs are perfect. So beautiful, true and fragile. Just.. stunning.

9. Maroon 5.
A band that I've loved for over so many years. I was always too young to go alone and when they came last time I didn't have any money which broke my heart a bit.

10. Rascal Flatts.
I'm not really into the whole country thing but Rascal Flatts makes me HAPPYYYY.

11. Peter Frampton.
Yeah.. Last November I totally missed my chance of seeing him..

12. Killerpilze.
One of my favorite German bands for years now. 5 years exactly.. and no, I've never seen them live. Such a shame!!

13. Train.
Their songs.. the words, the lyrics, the music, everything is just right. It's perfect. And I need to experience it live.

I must have forgotten some bands but this is it for now! Sometimes concert tickets are just so expensive with the cost of the train and all.. It really sucks. But luckily I've seen so many of my favorite bands/singers already!!!

Family Matters.

It's time for a blog dedicated to my family because it's true, family means everything to me. Without my family I would've never became the person I am now.

I don't have a lot of friends in my hometown, 2, maybe 3. And those friends don't have time to do anything fun because they have their studies. Since I'm not studying yet, I've been spending the past year mostly with my family. And I loved every second of it. My mother and I spent a lot of time together and most of the times were fun and great. When I go back to study I'm going to miss spending time with her. I will barely have any time left to do fun things with her. I've also spent a lot of time with my grandmother who I love very much. The thought about seeing her (and the other family members of course) a lot less makes me kind of sad. I've become very attached to my family since they're all I have here.

When I was younger and also didn't have any friends, they were always there for me. I could come by whenever I wanted. And now I'm doing something back for them by visiting them and doing fun things with them. When my mom, grandmother and I go shopping together I feel proud. 3 generations, 3 different personalities and bellyaches caused by laughter.

I'm glad I got friends though. You can't share too much information with your family, sometimes you just need a friend. And I'm lucky enough to have such awesome friends that I can trust. Thank you for being there for me.

Even though I see some of my family members not as much as I want to see them, I still love them just as much as the others I see a lot.

My family is my world. They rock my world. I love them with all my heart and I want to thank them for being there for me when everybody else wasn't. But I also want to thank them for ALWAYS being there for me, whenever I felt alone or upset, whenever I felt happy and lucky. They're always there, they are the ones I trust the most.

Getting rid of the past.

When you clean your room, you find a lot back. Letters from 4 years ago, drawings from high school and maybe even a piece of clothing you never wore. I found them all today. It has been a while since I cleaned out my desk, but I finally did.

I found a letter from an old friend, saying some of her best times were the times with me, shopping or going out for dinner or whatever. But when I read that now, I don't get how someone can write that and lie to my face. I don't get how you can call someone your best friend when you know you're constantly lying to her about your life and it's about to come out. I also can't believe that I've been so blind. She meant a lot to me for a while but after she lied, I just kicked her out of my life. I don't want to waste any more time on people like her. If you read this: don't ever expect me to talk to you. I might forgive you, just to make myself feel better but I will never ever talk to you again.

I also found lots of drawings and poems that were at least 5 years old. It's fun to see how much I've grown. Not in drawings or poems, but in my personality. Things I worried about back then, are things that seem so little now. They are now my smallest problems. I also loved to see how much fantasy I already had back then and how I never lost it.

After my desk I went on to my closet. I found a dress I recently bought and actually wore. But I hate it. It looks ridiculous on me and it's the worst thing I ever bought... I also found another dress that I never wore. I wanted it so bad that I bought the only one left, 2 sizes too big. I tried it on in the store and that's the only time I wore it. Biggest waste of money ever. Together with the other dress then.. It's fun to see how I can combine my old clothes with the new ones that represent the new me. A couple of years ago I looked ridiculous, too bad I didn't notice that up until last year. Luckily it turned out right and I have almost no pictures of me in those clothes. Ha!

As you can read, I don't have anything to talk about but I just wanted to blog.
Thanks for wasting your time on reading this

Love,
Michelle.

Thoughts.

Back in the days it was much easier to explain my feelings because I didn't know many words to describe them. Now I know too many words and too many feelings, my mind is exploding. Back in the days you were in love or you weren't, as you get older you notice there's a lot of feelings and words in between those 2 options. It's confusing me. And I guess it will only get worse.. I have to figure out what I'm going to do, and I'm going to do that by writing. Writing on paper, not on a keyboard. Writing is the only way I can clear my mind a little and so I hope it will help. I feel lost in my thoughts, so confused.

part 2 of this blog post: I NEED A CONCERT ASAP. It's bothering me that I have almost nothing to look forward to. I have 1 thing: Parkpop with Boyce Avenue. I can't wait to see my best friend Tessa and all the other lovely people again. But further... Nothing. NOTHING. I also need to hang out more.. But the only one I can hang out with is myself. Now that sounds pathetic, lol. I hope I find work soon so I can go and visit my friends. And buy clothes. And cd's. And go to concerts. And go on a short holiday. I really need to work. I want to work. I want money. Sheesh.

I did it. We did it.

Yes. I did it. I made it. I got accepted. I'm going to study photography. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!! I would just like to thank everybody that supported me and encouraged me to just give it a try and see if I'd get accepted. I really appreciate that you believed in me. I don't wanna live up to people's expectations, I wanna live up to mine because I have to stay true to myself and I know I will. Everyone's unique and that's where we are the same. We all wanna do good and stay true to ourselves. Sometimes that works out and other times it doesn't. I hope that for me, it will. And that it will get accepted and it gets seen that it's me doing this, with all my heart. Honestly, I HATE school. I HATE studying. But I love photography so much I am willing to do the best I can to make it through those 4 years and hopefully get a job as a photographer. My biggest dream is to get my own magazine. Travel all over the world and capture things the way they are, perfect. But I think it's more special to go to known places, where many people have been. And then photography things no one notices because it's not that special. That's where my hopefully great skills kick in, to make it look special and less ordinary.

Thanks to everyone that supported me and believed in me. It means the world to me.

Top 10 - songs.

A little while ago I also had a top 10 songs. I'm going to do a new one. With my current top 10 favorite songs! Without links cause I'm lazy and I don't feel like youtube'ing every fucking song.

10 - Hot Chelle Rae - Honestly.
I love how it cheers me up. It's really a party song. I saw Hot Chelle Rae in November 2011 and it was really good. Ryan has an amazing voice and they really surprised me with their performance. I had to get used to the album but now I love almost every song on it.

09 - Alex G ft. Eppic - Call me maybe.
It's a cover of the original song by Carly Rae Jepsen or something like that. I love it. Alex is such a great singer, I don't think she knows half of how good she is. She deserves more subscribers and more audience. I hope she comes to Holland (with Eppic!!!!) soon cause I'd love to see her perform! The video makes me so happy too.

08 - Nickelback - This Afternoon.
Summer is coming up and this song makes me look forward to the summer even more. A lot of people judge Nickelback but they have amazing lyrics so stop judging. If you're a guy: guys don't give a shit about lyrics so I don't blame you for not liking Nickelback.

07 - Greg Holden - The Art Of Falling.
I just absolutely love the song. The video, the lyrics, Greg's voice. Yep. Everything.

06 - Fun - We Are Young.
WHAT AN AMAZING SONG THIS IS. I've known it for a while now but I recently watched their live performances on youtube and that makes the song even more awesome. I prefer the version @ Conan, without the female singer.

05 - Goo Goo Dolls - Feel The Silence.
Some of you might know I'm a big fan of the Goo Goo Dolls. I love their songs, I love their lyrics. Last week I was ripping the CD to my computer (not to forward it, just to make listening to the album much easier) and I just fell in love with the song again.

04 - Case Mayfield - You sure lost a lot of weight.
Case Mayfield is a dutch singer-songwriter but his songs are refreshing and not dutch at all. I don't know what it is about this song but it's just soooo emotional yet I love it so much.

03 - Stevie Ray Vaughan - Life by the drop.
Stevie Ray Vaughan has got a huge amount of amazing songs yet this is my favorite. It's so simple and that's what makes it so special.

02 - Foo Fighters - Stranger things have happened.
No matter what happens, the Foo Fighters will always have a special place in my heart. And on the lower side of my calf but they got an even bigger and permanent place in my heart. Stranger things have happened is a song that is so simple yet so complicated. The lyrics really get to me somehow.

01 - Greg Holden - Hell and back.
I JUST LOVE SINGING ALONG TO THIS SONG. SERIOUSLY. HOLY SHIT.
